Roksanda Ilincic released her second Pre-Fall collection! I’m so happy her label is picking up momentum. I’ve seen a few of her designs on celebrities which is helpful for every designer.
Her recent collections remind me of Alfred Hitchcock films. The shapes and cuts of the designs have the feel of the fashion in his movies. I’m sure he would have used Ilincic’s striking colors and mix-match of plaids. Plus, color blocking would look stunning on one of his characters; good, bad or a bit crazy. Her angular skirts have always given her clothes a vintage vibe for all sorts of events.
