HBO Max suggested this series for me based on my horoscope, triggering my experience in video editing pornography, which is why I watched it immediately to see what it may be about. Adult Material not only takes on the industry’s business practices and the public’s hypocritical eye, it digs deep into addiction, the battle of consent and safety for women in ALL professional settings and dealings. Hayley Squires is phenomenal as Hayley Burrows aka Jolene Dollar, a UK porn star and mom trying to have it all in a world hoping she keeps quiet, the leading character of the story. A must watch!
