Cate Blanchett, a mega talent and fashion icon, impressed everyone in this watery garden dress by Armani Privé. When Cate hits the carpet I expect high fashion and couture which she brings 90% of the time. She isn’t afraid to take bold chances, probably because it usually works out for the best. I love the color and soft detailing of this piece and Cate does look like the Queen of all water nymphs aka Hollywood.

Rooney Mara, another capable actress and fashion risk taker, is one of the few people that combines punk and glamour so well like in this moment with Givenchy Haute Couture. She looks stunning, effortlessly chic and unbothered. The sheer white doily detail softens her so and the blunt cut out, along with the dark make up and tight hair knots, roughs it all up and pushes the major trend of the dress into another realm. I also see a hint of a warrior adorned with tribal markings. Even, maybe an angel of a forgotten tribe.

Lady Gaga, pop mogul and now a rising actress, of course, showed up in another show-stopping ensemble. This piece by Brandon Maxwell is made up of great ingredients: a comfortable color, Classic Hollywood, timeless elegance, playfulness with the pants and skirt, great tailoring and sculptural fabric manipulation. Lady Gaga has embraced and expressed herself through fashion so creatively and has truly earned the title of fashion icon, expected to wow everywhere she goes, which she has done again on another global platform.
